Big Dead Fish

The small peaceful town of Fish Creek in South Gippsland has really embraced the Fish as their mascot: in the center of town you can't turn your head without spotting a fish logo, a fish sign or a fish sculpture.
Perhaps because there are so many arts and crafts shops (and presumably a lot of local talent), the town has produced rather beautiful welcome signs and park benches each with an individually designed fish motif incorporated into them with metalwork and tile mosaics.
Most shops and businesses have a fish in their logo or use a giant cut-out fish to display their shop name, the local church has painted an enourmas christian fish symbol on their corrugated roof, and then there's The Fishy Pub.
The Fishy Pub - sometimes known as the Fish Creek Hotel - has a fish skeleton for a logo, proudly displayed on their roadside pub sign. They've also constructed themselves a non-skeletal Big Fish (apparantly a Mullet) and laid it down flat on the corner of their roof - so now it's the Big Dead Fish.
It's quite nicely positioned on one corner of the pub roof, looking for all the world as if a gigantic bird dropped the fish from it's beak as it flew over Fish Creek.
Fish Creek is on the C444 Meeniyan Promontory Road, south-west of Foster
